nJoy Vision Announces Center Opening at UHCO

We’ve been teasing the opening of our new center at the University of Houston College of Optometry for a while, but, with this official press release, it is now officially official.

Oklahoma City— Monday, February 9, 2015

nJoy Vision announced the opening of its 3rd location – nJoy Vision at the University of Houston College of Optometry.

“nJoy Vision is an optometric-driven, multi-site eye care services organization and partnering with The University of Houston College of Optometry and their first-class facility provides a tremendous opportunity to integrate refractive surgery into the curriculum and strategically enter the Houston market,” said Jim Feinstein, Chief Operating Officer at nJoy Vision.

“UHCO is proud to be partnering with nJoy Vision to establish a state-of-the-art patient care center in our new Vision Institute that features laser refractive procedures and advanced treatment options for conditions like keratoconus. In addition to expanding the range of services that the College of Optometry will offer our patients, this new nJoy facility will provide fantastic educational opportunities for our students and unique research opportunities for our faculty. There is no doubt that our partnership with nJoy Vision will advance UHCO and the profession of Optometry in Texas,” commented Earl L. Smith III, OD, PhD, FAAO, Interim Chief Health Officer of the University of Houston, Greeman-Petty Professor.
